Small groups

Small groups are the place where the big church becomes small and personal. We believe that real change and freedom happen in the context of relationships – that’s why we have small groups.

Bethel small groups

Small groups exist for you!

Small groups have one main goal: to bring people together.
We believe that God created us to be in relationship with others because only then can we live in the fullness that He intended for us. Finding this kind of relationship is not always easy. For this reason, small groups exist.

We run small groups by semester. So every semester you have the opportunity to change groups depending on what’s on for you at the time. Of course, no one has to switch, as long as the group continues to be offered.

Spring semester

The Bethel small groups start on February 1 and last until end of June. You can use the filter to find a suitable group.

If you have any questions about the small group system or a specific small group, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Of course, if you have any questions regarding individual small groups, you may contact the small group leader directly. They are also happy to help you!

Leading a small group

You don’t have to be perfect to lead a small group. Rather, it is about serving others and helping them find community. Starting a group is easy: pick an activity or topic that interests you and choose a time and place to share it together. We will give you the support you need through our leader training course to make your group a success. In addition, we give you the opportunity to make your group known in a directory so that it can be easily found by others.

Online training
The training consists of a short video and a brief conversation with our small group coordinator. Once you fill out the form, you will get access to the video and we will send you a small group leader booklet by mail.

Submit a small group idea

If you’ve already completed the small group leader training, you can submit your group idea to
for the next semester directly via this form.
