Giving

Joyful givers wanted
Jesus is the most generous person who ever lived. He gave his life so that we can have life. As Christians, we joyfully give our time, talents and money in response to Jesus’ generosity so that many more people can come to know Jesus.

Why give?

As a non-profit organization, our church is funded solely by gifts and donations from our members and friends.

We are economical with the resources entrusted to us, so that we as a congregation can carry out Jesus’ mission as faithfully and effectively as possible.

Jesus was the most generous person who ever lived: He gave his own life so that we could have life. In 2 Corinthians 9:6-11, the Bible shows us that as Christians, in consultation with Jesus, we are to give regularly, joyfully, and sacrificially.

Our community as a whole also cultivates a culture of generosity. At least 10 percent of the proceeds go to other organizations nearby and abroad, such as the social aid organization HOPE in Baden or people in need.

WE WANT TO HELP

Every day we receive new shocking pictures and news from Ukraine. As a Bethel community, we want to help. We have been in contact with AVC (Action for Persecuted Christians and the Needy) for many years. They provide great immediate help and have the necessary experience and contacts. We also support the SPM (Swiss Pentecostal Mission) which has also donated funds as an immediate measure to support their local partners.

You can also help alleviate the need and provide hope through your financial support! Thanks to these first-class partners, who can deliver relief supplies in large quantities, we are able to help quickly and without complications. Your donation makes this immediate help possible and also ensures long-term support. Together we make a big difference!

You can donate easily through the channels listed above.

COMMUNITY BUILDING, SCHOOLS AND HELPING PEOPLE TO HELP THEMSELVES

India is the country with the most unreached people groups. At the same time, the Gospel is spreading rapidly there and there is much to be done. In Southeast India, we have maintained personal relationships with a rural community for many years. We co-founded a Bible school to train over 100 pastors. We support the poorest and create help for self-help through agricultural projects. At the moment we are in the process of building a new community and school building. Interested? Then you are welcome to learn more with a message to mission@gzb.ch.
