Prayer meeting
Nothing is more important than relationship with God. One way to cultivate this is to join with others in honoring God, worshipping Him, asking Him for things, and enjoying His presence.

On Wednesday evening we meet for “In His Presence”. The evenings vary in their focus – but all of them are about putting God at the center and being in His presence.
The apostle Paul was very concerned about his own people (Romans 1:16). Israel has been chosen by God, it is the “apple of His eye” (Zechariah 2:12), blessed is he who blesses it and cursed is he who curses it (Genesis 12:3). It is to be a blessing for all nations, because the Saviour Jesus Christ came through the people of the Jews. It is the root of our faith into which we are grafted. As a church, we therefore have the privilege and the concern to regularly stand up for the Jewish people and their land, to bless them, to pray for their peace and salvation.
Intercession serves to bring works prepared in heaven down to earth. It is also a watchman ministry for the protection of the church and believers: Ephesians 6:18: “watch for this purpose with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.” We learn practically how to bring concerns before God in such a way that a spiritual effect is achieved.
We leave room for worship with songs and practicing spiritual gifts. In the spirit of: 1 Corinthians 14:26: “When you come together, each of you has something: a psalm, a teaching, a speech in tongues, a revelation, an interpretation; let everything be done for edification!”. We will also celebrate Communion together.
The Psalmist writes: Psalm 46:11 “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Silence is what we so often lack these days . On this evening, the worship hall will be available for moments of silence. There will also be people from the prayer team present to pray for your requests.
